At HMO hub our aim is to connect, educate and encourage the HMO property community in order to increase the quality of co-living assets in the UK. HMO Licensing, enacted in 2006 via the Housing Act of 2004, is the legal system used within the UK, via a local authority or council, to prescribe standards of safety and amenity, and decide the suitability for profession, of licensable HMO assets. There was no one single place where HMO investors, new or experienced, could go to get all the information, resources, news, education and inspiration that they needed.
